This document describes and analyses the WEEE recovery markets in the RIS countries,
with a focus on the existing collection networks and the WEEE technological solutions already
implemented in those.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report includes information such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


a) sources, volume, and types of WEEE products collected, treated, and recovered officially, as well
as WEEE circulation in unauthorised\/illegal markets (estimation),<\/p>\n\n\n\n


b) collection systems (e.g., collective, and individual systems based on extended producer
responsibility, municipal systems, door-to-door collection),<\/p>\n\n\n\n


c) existing WEEE treatment and recovery infrastructures and their performance,<\/p>\n\n\n\n


d) market distortions, barriers to expand and improve it, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n


e) regulatory considerations pertinent to WEEE recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
